Build ENERGY STAR® Certified homes
It’ s a common misconception that factory-built homes can’t be energy efficient. But that isn’t true with Genesis. Most of our models have the option to be built to the rigorous energy efficiency standards of the ENERGY STAR Certification program. They’re available at 40 of our manufacturing facilities across the United States.
By building ENERGY STAR homes, you’re meeting the market demand from buyers for energy efficiency. Every ENERGY STAR home from Genesis is constructed according to strict standards for energy efficiency, offering buyers greater durability and comfort. Your end customers will appreciate the environmental and financial benefits. According to the ENERGY STAR program, homeowners save an average of $250 a year in energy bills with an ENERGY STAR home, and these homes are 20% more energy efficient on average than typical new homes.
Homeowners will see, feel, and hear the difference with an ENERGY STAR home from Genesis. The fully integrated approach to design and construction offers buyers:
- Reduced leaks and drafts
- More consistent temperatures
- Improved indoor air quality
- Greater peace of mind

Reduce construction energy use and site waste
Genesis’s innovative offsite-built manufacturing process can result in less energy use and material waste compared to traditional site-built construction. Each home and its materials are thoughtfully planned to minimize waste, and extra materials are captured in our on-site recycling process.
Genesis is a proud member of the Family of Champion Homes Brands. With a commitment to making efforts to use sustainable materials, Champion aims to build homes that save energy for homeowners and make a positive environmental impact.
One million trees planted since 2021
Together with the Arbor Day Foundation, Champion Homes has planted more than one million trees since 2021 through strategic reforestation projects. These large-scale tree planting efforts are designed to reach areas where our homes are built and delivered. By supporting reforestation efforts, we actively participate in restoring ecosystems and offsetting carbon emissions. Forest products are the largest raw material used in home construction, and working with the Arbor Day Foundation to replenish North American forests is one exciting step to help balance our use.
